The GG hardware is the second thing to study. Look at the close-up photos of the emblem: the metal should sit flat and even, and the photos will show any surface wear or light scratching from previous use. Check the fixings where the hardware meets the leather, and the ends of the chain strap, where wear tends to appear first.
The chain strap deserves its own look. Check the full length in the photos where it is shown: links should look consistent, and any leather shoulder section should be checked for creasing or darkening, just like the handles on other bags. If the strap length or drop matters to you, judge it from the listing photos and description — do not assume a standard drop, because the exact style in the listing is the only one that counts.
Then check the corners and base edges, the areas that meet surfaces most often. On a quilted bag these edges can show rubbing or slight flattening of the quilting. The base photo, where included, is worth a close look: it shows how the bag has rested and whether the shape still holds evenly.
INTERIOR AND CONDITION
Open the interior photos and look at the lining, any interior pocket, and the inside of the flap. The lining on a pre-owned bag can show light marks from use; the photos are there so you can see them before ordering rather than discovering them after delivery.
